Culinary Solutions with Sensory Analyses

The end application of a developed product must always deliver on flavor and function. For us, that starts with identifying your food ingredient goals and expectations, then acquiring the highest quality food ingredients from our strategic partners.

From there, our in-house, culinary-trained chefs review all raw materials to ensure they will effectively enhance the final product. This includes an evaluation of samples benchmarked against a gold standard recipe, as well as review and testing of end-user functionality to determine the feasibility of our recommended recipe.

The applications team at Del-Val also has the ability to perform basic sensory testing, with paired comparison or/and triangle testing techniques, all with the use of a trained panel of experts. We can also prepare and perform product demonstrations for customers.
