After one year of implementation, Del-Val Food Ingredients underwent its SQF Level II Surveillance audit earlier this month. The Quality Team and Del-Val unit maintained an “excellent scoring status.”

The Del-Val Quality Assurance Team was tasked with achieving GFSI Certification in 2015, and was able to implement the system Q3 of 2016, allowing plant and QA personnel time to collect the necessary data to show proof of implementation. Maintaining the scoring status was one component of the Quality Department’s KPIs for 2017.

Producing a safe and consistent product is the goal of the entire Del-Val Team, and is a goal that is shared amongst Quality, Production, and Management alike. FSMA and FSVP are on the horizon for 2017.
